That work spans every corner of the university. Science, engineering and humanities research happens across our campuses, and the next generation of medical professionals trains with cutting-edge technology at the Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa. None of this effort is abstract. All the work underway at OSU goes toward solving the greatest challenges that face humankind, from feeding a growing population and developing responsible energy solutions to advancing aerospace and improving the health of people, animals and the environment.
Collaboration makes this depth and distinction of research possible. Rooted in the Cowboy Code and our identity as a land-grant university, OSU brings ambitious, innovative minds together across fields on each campus to share knowledge and solve real problems. Engineers work side by side with agricultural scientists, veterinarians work with human health researchers and data scientists partner with social scientists. This interdisciplinary approach allows OSU to tackle complex problems from multiple angles and move promising ideas from the laboratory into the real world, where their impact is most deeply felt.
